If we were in the business of trimming trees or applying herbicides (as are many of our competitors) reducing workload through efficiency would be a conflict of interest. We don’t make money by trimming trees, but by developing UVM Plans that have high efficiency as their goal. But, precisely because we don't operate tree crews, we are able to offer you completely unbiased, independent recommendations. In fact, it is in our best interest - and yours - to ensure that we increase UVM efficiency for you.

How can this help you?

  • Work that is planned by unit insures that you are paying for actual work completed, not by more abstract methods such as “time” or “line miles.”
  • To a tree contractor, removing a tree represents removing future work and revenue. We will not hesitate to mark a tree for removal if it is in your best interest.
  • Increasing tree crew efficiency represents a conflict of interest for the tree contractor because it means decreasing residual trimming revenues.

Our arborists plan the workload and hold the tree crews accountable to perform work as directed. You are assured that you are getting all that you pay for, and not paying for inefficiencies.

200% ROI

The implementation of a best-in-class Utility Vegetation Management Plan is a serious and costly endeavor, and a decision that is made with utmost care. Fortunately, there are clear and tangible returns that you will receive by partnering with ACRT. In fact, on average, our customers receive a 200% return on their investment.

Where does the return come from?

First of all, by greatly increasing the efficiency of your program we are able to reduce expense relative to the workload. Efficiencies primarily come through improved work unit selection and tree contractor accountability, better contracting strategies, increased removals and improved cycle selection.

Secondly, by implementing a more efficient and effective UVM program in general, you will reduce expenses caused by vegetation related problems such as outages, restoration/overtime expenses, and safety-related issues.
