Consulting Utility Forester

Perform tree inspection and evaluation along utility lines, submit inspection results to clients with recommendations; plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews.

Roving Utility Forester

Travel throughout the nation to ACRT client locations to perform tree inspection, multiple contract set-up, and evaluation of utility line systems. First responder to storm situations such as hurricanes, tropical storms, outage work, etc. This is your chance to be on the forefront of events that are shaping the industry. *This position involves frequent and extensive statewide and/or national travel.

Job Corps Training Instructor

Provide vocational training to students in the fundamentals of urban forestry and arboriculture as well as life and employment skills. This position requires individuals that possess leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills as well as a desire to teach and inspire young adults.
Locations: Yachats, OR; Golconda, IL; Vergennes, VT; Royal, AR; Pine Knot, KY.

Arboriculture/Urban Forestry Instructor

Provide hands-on training in climbing and arboriculture techniques to adult students of wide-ranging skill levels. Candidates must have experience in tree care and climbing with associated techniques, ability to work with diverse groups of individuals, ability to communicate and demonstrate techniques to groups, a high awareness and appreciation for safety, valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Bilingual in Spanish and line clearance experience are highly desired. Must obtain ISA Certification within one year of hire. This position involves frequent and extensive travel as well as shadow training for orientation.
